Firstly I do not even have a HSBC bank account, secondly one check at the link which the email asked me to click shows a completely different URL, a typical phishing scams. Very amateurish scammer, without even the frills and thrills of the sophisticated scammer, just a plain ordinary email.

I tried to report the phishing scam, but though it seemed that they have a notice warning their users of the phishing scams they do not seem to have a special email account for me to forward the scam too. Anyway I tried.
