This is a phishing scam targeting Master Card holders, quite new on the market, seldom do I see it.  Basically it acts the same way asking users to login to a specific url to capture their username and password.

Dear MasterCard Holder:

We are happy to inform you that we will offer a 16% discount for any of your future MasterCard purchases during the MasterCard SecureCode Program initiated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC™) and © MasterCard in order to provide increased protection against unauthorized use of your card when shopping online at participating online retailers.

All you need to do is to follow the 3 easy steps – a 5 minutes survey from MasterCard and you’ll get:

- 16% discount for your first purchase with MasterCard SecureCode.
- Increased protection against unauthorized use of your card when shopping online at participating online retailers.

To find out more about the SecureCode Promotion please follow this direct link or visit us on the Mastercard Homepage:

Trust your common sense, there are too many of such phishing scams, never click on any link on the email, no matter how official sounding it is.  Take the trouble to give a call to your Master Card support phone and ask if you are suspicious.
