  2. i got a similiar e-mail stating i had won 1000000.00 british sterlings the only info they asked for was name, phone number, mail address, and nationality, sex and age, before i thought i gave this to them then i backed up,i don’t think they can do any damage with just that info which is why i didn’t see any harm in it. I have now turned it over to pay pal so they can deal with it and protect there customers as they should seeing how this has been going on since 08 and people have been searching it i feel like pay pal should have sent out an alert to let people know to be aware. I hope nobody has gotten hurt by this scam and feel like they should be caught and punished to the full extent of the law

  3. I received a payment request in my email asking to be paid via Paypal.
If you have had similar – it looks something like this:

Tina Hartly(tinnhart23@live.co.uk) would like to be paid through PayPal.
    Money request details:£50.23GBP
Click following link to view payment details-

As I have never had any dealings with anyone of this name – I forwarded the email to spoof@paypal.com and got a reply back that this is a phishing mail.

Moral is: If you aint bought nothing and don’t know the name – IGNORE IT – and for heavens sake DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.

As they say on the telly – Don’t have nightmares
